
Psychologist
Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, On-site Salary Range: $100,000 to $110,000 Description: We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinic in Brampton. As a Psychologist, you will assess and diagnose behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders, counsel clients, provide therapy, conduct research, and apply psychological theory to enhance clients' overall functioning. This role involves working in a private practice within our dynamic team. Work Week Duration: Approximately 40 hours per week Job Duties: As a Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:- Examining and assessing behavior, diagnosing behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders, counseling clients, and providing therapy.
- Assisting clients in managing physical illnesses and disorders.
- Counseling individuals and groups to enhance personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment, and providing mediation services.
- Utilizing standard psychological tests for assessment.
- Planning intervention programs and conducting program evaluations.
- Applying psychological theories and principles regarding behavior and mental processes to develop treatment programs.
- Formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, reviewing literature, conducting studies, and publishing research papers, educational texts, and articles.
- Delivering presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia.
- Providing consultation services to government and other organizations.
- Conducting applied psychology and/or experimental research.
- Certification by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) and in good standing.
