Job Description:

As a Chef/Cook, you will play a crucial role in crafting memorable dining experiences. From preparing and cooking a diverse range of dishes esp. European & Canadian cuisines and ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards are met, you will contribute to the success of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, precision, and a dedication to delivering high-quality cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menus that align with our culinary vision.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure freshness of ingredients.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Adapt to changing menu requirements and special dietary needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
• Creativity and the ability to develop and execute innovative menu items.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
